Was so sick of hearing the same things over and over again the last week prior to the election. Markers and colored pencil... I enjoyed this technique.


Halloween assignment. Not too happy with her hand... needs some touching up later on. Oil paint, oil pastel, colored pencil.

So. It's week ten, and I haven't updated in FOREVER.

I'm avoiding work like the plague right now, so I figured maybe I'd post some fun shit and get inspired.

Positive update!

So things are looking pretty bright today...

I got a letter in the mail saying Munson-Willams Proctor accepted my piece to their annual Sidewalk Arts Show (which will be June 27-July 2).

And I just won a super sweet acoustic guitar on ebay for cheapps. Maybe I'll teach myself a new hobby. :)

So I took an oil painting class and I am IN LOVE.

Tentacles

This is a piece I just finished up for my Illustration Techniques course. There are some tweeks I need to do but I'm happy with this piece right now. I'll repost it later on with the alterations.

I really think I've found my perfect medium combinations, this is definitely the style I've been pushing for for a while. Granted there are some things that need to be fixed but I'm really happy for once.

The next step of this project is to redo it in a different medium.
