"Babe, I'm leavin..."

So it's definitely been a while since I've updated. Here are a few pieces from my digital narrative class. I'm somewhat happy with these, I really wish they were traditional media.

Portrait of musician Frank Zappa. I am actually planning on redoing this in oil, and have it started.

Part of a three piece sequence of the Princess and the Pea. I really like the colors.
I'm actually really happy with this piece. I might print it pretty large for myself. :]

It's been a really hectic and stressful semester, but che sera, sera. Hopefully looking back on this I'll have some good pieces out of the deal.

I'm looking into internships for the summer, or just general commission work.

On another side note, the weather has been so crazy here, warm, cold, warm again, sleeting, warm. Hopefully this winter will end sooner than expected. It was really sunny here today so I took advantage of it and went to the lake:

God, I can't wait for the summer breeze.

Woody Allen

"Interestingly, according to modern astronomers, space is finite. This is a very comforting thought - particularly for people who can never remember where they have left things."

I've got a new found love in Woody Allen everything.

Merry Christmas!

I'd just like everyone to know that I received The Beatles Monopoly game for Christmas from my little sister. AND I'M SO EXCITED!!

And I got a great new obnoxious green jacket!! :]

I hope everyone received my Christmas cards safely in the mail, and if you didn't here's a sample:

Wishing everyone a safe and fantastic holiday season!!

LOVE,
Sorrento.

Couple from Fall semester...

Politics, witch, myself.

Was so sick of hearing the same things over and over again the last week prior to the election. Markers and colored pencil... I enjoyed this technique.

Halloween assignment. Not too happy with her hand... needs some touching up later on. Oil paint, oil pastel, colored pencil.

Finally, my self portrait for the semester. Oil paint and oil pastel. Possibly some colored pencil.

Forgot some...

Where is my mind??

So. It's week ten, and I haven't updated in FOREVER.

I'm avoiding work like the plague right now, so I figured maybe I'd post some fun shit and get inspired.
